Myrangoli™ offers non-toxic, corrosion-resistant coatings and linings using FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Composite Plastic) and GRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Composite Plastic) systems. These coatings and linings provide effective protection against weather exposure, acidic environments, and alkaline corrosion.
In many applications, FRP and GRP linings significantly enhance the durability and service life of mild steel (MS), carbon steel (CS), cast iron (CI), and RCC structures. They are widely used for ETP tanks, flooring, walls, platforms, reactors, agitators, reaction vessels, storage tanks, piping systems, pumps, centrifuges, and other process equipment operating in corrosive chemical environments.
Both internal and external FRP/GRP coatings and linings offer superior performance compared to conventional materials. When polyester resins are combined with fiberglass reinforcement, the resulting system provides extended service life and improved corrosion resistance.
Material of Construction
FRP and GRP coatings and linings are manufactured using the following resin systems:
FRI – Fiberglass reinforced with Isophthalate polyester resins
FRB – Fiberglass reinforced with Bisphenol polyester resins
FRV – Fiberglass reinforced with Vinyl Ester epoxy resins
FRSEV – Fiberglass reinforced with Superior epoxy vinyl ester resins
