Myrangoli™ FRP, GRP, and Dual Laminate piping systems are available in a wide range of pipe sizes, pressure ratings, and fittings, including bends, elbows, tees, stub ends, flanges, blinds, reducers, end caps, and other accessories. These systems are designed to provide excellent tensile, flexural, and impact strength properties.
Fiberglass reinforced composite plastic and dual laminate piping are widely used for corrosive process systems due to their superior performance characteristics.
Key advantages include:
* Ability to be engineered for a wide range of corrosion-resistant applications
* Lightweight construction (less than 20% of steel and around 10% of concrete)
* Excellent strength-to-weight ratio (stronger than steel on an equal weight basis)
* Low coefficient of friction (more than 25% better than steel)
* Good dimensional stability
* Low thermal conductivity, resulting in reduced insulation costs
* Low long-term maintenance requirements
The overall system cost takes all of the above factors into consideration. When compared with steel piping, FRP and Dual Laminate systems offer significantly lower total lifecycle costs, with even greater savings when compared to high-alloy alternatives.
All piping and fittings can be manufactured and fabricated in FRP (FRB, FRV, FRSV) and Dual Laminate constructions such as PP/FRP, PPH/FRP, PVC/FRP, CPVC/FRP, and PVDF/FRP, depending on the chemical media and operating temperature.
With a strong focus on long-term system performance, our trained and customer-oriented engineers and technicians provide complete support for site installation and commissioning. Our specialists visit client sites to carry out activities related to assembly, setup, testing, and commissioning of piping systems.
